Why do I need to carry it out?

Following a fixed wire test, the Electrical Installation Condition Report provided will highlight any non-compliances to the current edition of the electrical regulations BS 7671:2015.

In order to attain a ‘satisfactory’ assessment, any defects listed with a Code 1 or Code 2 must be rectified. Code 3 defects do not represent a safety issue and are often minor changes to the regulations that are not retrospective.

What we do:

Whether your fixed wire testing was carried out by us or a third party, we can compile a fixed price quotation to rectify all Code 1 and Code 2 defects to make your installation safe for continued service and compliant with all regulations, CQC and insurance company requirements.

As national service providers, our NICEIC approved engineers can carry out electrical defect rectification, periodic inspections and provide electrical safety certificates in Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Gateshead, Middlesbrough, Durham, Ashington and across the UK.
